Ciao, my name is Lea Mobilia

WEDDING, COUPLE & SLOW TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHER

I'm a wedding and couple photographer based in Stuttgart, Germany, with a second home in sunny Sicily. I’ve got a love for architecture, a weakness for good pasta alla norma and an undeniable soft spot for dogs.
What matters most to me is that you feel seen, celebrated, and completely happy with your photos.

About my Photography

This isn't just a job for me; it’s a passion I pour my heart into every single day. Whether it’s climbing a hill for the perfect sunset shot or spending hours perfecting an image, I’m here to create memories that will last a lifetime.

I believe in offering a luxurious and exclusive experience—from start to finish. My editing style is natural and modern, with a special focus on enhancing skin tones and highlighting the beauty in every individual. You can trust that I’ll capture you at your best, with images that feel authentic and timeless.

THAT'S MY STYLE

TIMELESS. ELEGANT. DOCUMENTARY.

I want your wedding day to feel natural and not just like one big photo shoot.

My focus is not just on capturing the big, obvious moments of your wedding but also on those hidden emotions that lie between the lines.

EDITORIAL-CHIC & DOCUMENTARY

I love creating stylish and high-quality portraits that highlight your love while capturing spontaneous moments that tell your story.

On the surface, editorial and documentary styles might seem like opposites—editorial photography often involves posed and staged shots, while documentary focuses on candid, authentic moments. However, the art lies in merging these apparent contrasts into a harmonious unity.

HOW DO I ACHIEVE THIS BALANCE?

My workflow is designed to capture your special moments in authentic, stylish, and narrative images that will bring you joy for a lifetime.

By creating stylish and high-quality portraits that highlight your love, while also being fascinated by the small, spontaneous moments that reveal genuine emotions and tell your story. My creative approach includes experimental elements like movement, light and shadow, and unusual perspectives to create unique images. Fashion and style are important to me, and I skillfully integrate them into relaxed and natural settings.

Q & A

What is your Background?

I started photographing intensely about six years ago during my studies in Heritage Conservation and Interior Architecture. This background has given me not only an eye for beauty and aesthetics but also a deep connection to the uniqueness and transience of moments. My studies sharpened my perspective to capture not just obvious moments but also the atmosphere and emotional depth in my images.

What is most important during a shoot?

One thing remains especially important to me: having fun with photography and creating an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable and can be themselves. I know how strange it can feel to be in front of the camera, so I provide tips and guidance to help you feel confident. Before each shoot, I provide a small shooting guide.

How do you approach working with shy couples?

I love creating a relaxed atmosphere where you can be yourselves. Whether it’s sharing a laugh, giving gentle guidance, or finding the perfect angle, my goal is to make you forget the camera and focus on each other. That’s when the magic happens!

What’s your favorite kind of light to work with?

Natural light is my first love—it adds a softness and authenticity that’s hard to beat. But I also enjoy playing with flash photography for bold, editorial-style shots, especially during evening celebrations!

Do you photograph more than just weddings?

Absolutely! While weddings are my passion, I also capture engagements, elopements, and couple sessions. Additionally, I collaborate with hotels and travel companies, particularly those specializing in slow travel and eco-conscious tourism. These projects align with my love for authentic experiences and storytelling, whether it’s showcasing serene landscapes or beautifully designed interiors. No matter the setting, I focus on creating images that inspire and connect.

How Does your Background influences your Photography?

My interest in heritage conservation, design, and interior architecture is reflected in my photography style. I love capturing not only the obvious but also the subtle nuances that define the character of a moment. Just like restoring old buildings, I strive to highlight the authentic essence of each moment while capturing its timeless elegance. This attention to detail and appreciation for transience is evident in every one of my photos.

Do you have a favorite wedding destination?

Italy holds a special place in my heart, with its rich culture, breathtaking landscapes, and timeless romance. My Sicilian roots inspire me to bring a touch of la dolce vita into every destination wedding I photograph.

What inspires your creativity?

Travel, art, and just humans being humans are endless sources of inspiration for me. Every place has its own energy, and I love weaving that into my images. My Sicilian roots also bring a touch of romance and warmth to everything I photograph.

Why is storytelling important to you?

A wedding isn’t just a sequence of events; it’s a collection of emotions and moments that tell a story. My photography focuses on preserving that narrative, so when you look at your photos years from now, you’ll relive not just the day but how it felt.
